A Kotō tachi by Bishu Osafune Yukihisa, a Bizen swordsmith active around the Ōei era of the Muromachi period. Signed works by Yukihisa are few and valuable as reference materials. The accompanying tachi koshirae, bearing the Hidari Mitsudomoe crest of the Arima family (lords of Kurume, Chikuzen), is a prestigious Edo-period mounting.
